Weymouth Villa Function Suite at Dukinfield Masonic Hall

Waiting Staff (16+)

• Serve and clear meals at masonic meetings, including washing up

  • Typical shifts are Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays 7:30pm-10:30pm

• Serve and clear meals at Weddings etc, again including washing up.

  • Typical shifts are Friday/Saturday 8:00pm - Midnight

• Set out buffet and serve Tea/Coffee at funerals

  • Typical shifts are 3 hours during the day Monday to Friday

• Carry Out Glass Collecting during Weekend functions

  • Typical Shifts are 8pm – 1am Friday/Saturday

• Pay starts at £8.55/hr  at age 16, rising to £8.63/hr after training

• Staff aged 18 - 20 will receive £10.37/hr, rising to £11.48/hr after training

• Staff aged 21 and over will receive £12.21/hr, rising to £12.33/hr after training

 

Bar Staff (18+)

• Serve behind our well stocked bar at busy weekend functions

  • Typical shifts are 7pm – 1am Friday/Saturday

• Pay starts at £8.46/hr at age 18, and National Living Wage at age 23.

• Opportunities to work as an acting Supervisor at enhanced rate of pay.

• Opportunities for additional shifts as Waiting staff at Bar staff pay rates

• Pay rate at age 18 is £11.48/hr

• Pay rate at age 21 is £12.33/hr

 

Supervisory Staff (18+)

• Act as Keyholder to open the hall for functions

• Take responsibility for cash security

• Supervise waiting and bar staff in their duties, in particular dealing with difficult behaviour, underage sales, and illicitly introduced alcohol

• Assist with Bar Service and waiting-on

  • Typical shifts are;

    • Tuesday – Thursday 5:30pm – 10:30pm

    • Friday/Saturday 5pm – 1am

    • Occasional daytime shifts to cover funerals

• Pay starts at £12.00 /hr at age 18, rising to £13.06/hr as a senior supervisor.

Shifts vary week by week, but typically we offer 2 shifts a week to each member of the team.

 

We don’t expect that all our team will be available for all the different shift types that we offer. We are just looking for polite, hardworking new members of our team who are able to work flexibly with us.
